The Accessory Shed, completed in 2022, was an asymmetrical wooden shed designed to explore the undervalued architectural style of California’s Central Valley. Built with CDX plywood and featuring a pitched roof, raised heel truss, and overhanging eaves, the structure deliberately lacked windows or doors, drawing focus to its external design. Its imbalanced form and exaggerated proportions challenged traditional perceptions of utility buildings while providing shade and scenic views. Positioned near the top of the canyon, the structure had no accessible interior and no functional purpose, and it has since been removed.
